like water

water
rushing in
trees sing in the breeze,
in the gale at the end of the
world sun drops over the edge, spinning world straining to
break free, by gravity held, trapped
like me as night drops
like water
in the
trees

  1. This is extremely beautiful. I can see and even hear it, and love the way it circles back to the water in the trees.

  2. I am comforted that the earth is held in gravity and can't break free - the other side looks to scary - earth spinning away to somewhere. But I did enjoy your poem.
    Thanks for visiting by blog.
